RECYCLE AT HOME = NO
Bedding, duvets and pillows cannot be recycling using your council’s collection service.
These items should be placed in your rubbish bin or taken to your council-run Household Reuse and Recycling Centre (see below)
RECYCLE OUT OF HOME = YES
Depending on its condition, it may be possible to recycle old bedding, duvets and pillows at your council-run Household Reuse and Recycling Centre (HRRC). If it is not possible to recycle them, you will be able to dispose of them at the HRRC.
WASTE LESS…
- If your bedding, duvets and pillows are in good condition you may be able to donate them to your local charity shop (locate your nearest charity shops on the Charity Retail Association website)
- Check with local animal charities; they may be able to use old duvets and pillows for bedding
